THE FOUNDER STORY

Hi, I’m Rishabh Kapoor, founder of Thread & Essence.

By profession, I’m also a wedding photographer. Through my work, I’ve had the privilege of capturing countless stories, emotions, and beautiful moments. Being surrounded by fashion, bridal wear, styling, and personal expression every day only deepened my passion for the world of clothing and design. The idea for Thread & Essence came to me during a simple yet unforgettable moment. I was sitting at Yashwant Place Market, enjoying my favorite momos, when a thought suddenly crossed my mind: “Why not build something in fashion?” That single thought turned into a vision that I couldn’t ignore. I wanted to create more than just a clothing brand. I wanted to build something that represents confidence, timeless style, and individuality something people could genuinely connect with every time they wore it. That moment at Yashwant Place became the beginning of Thread & Essence. Today, every collection reflects the same passion that inspired me on that day. As a photographer, I learned to appreciate details, craftsmanship, and stories.
